Samantha Lane
Physiotherapist
BSc (ExSports&Rehab), MPhysio (GradEntry)
Like many physiotherapists, Samantha was drawn to the profession through a strong background in sport. Growing up in Darwin, she loved being competitive and was always curious about how the human body worked and performed. After a brief and ill-fated start in veterinary medicine (turns out she forgot she’s not great with needles) she found her way to physiotherapy.
What Sam finds most rewarding about her work is helping people achieve meaningful goals. Whether it’s returning to sport after injury or regaining independence following surgery, she enjoys being a part of the journey and seeing progress over time.
Originally from Darwin, Sam returned home after completing a Bachelor of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Science at Curtin University in Perth in 2020, followed by a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2022. Since working at Territory Sportsmedicine Sam has become one of our most valuable and well-loved Physiotherapists. Sam's patients absolutely love her due to her dedication to their personal rehabilitation, but also her happy and caring demeanour.
During her time at TSM, Sam has worked with underage representative teams including NT Cricket, NT Basketball, and Cricket Australia’s Men’s Intellectual Disability team. She has also worked and travelled as a Sports Trainer with the Adelaide Crows AFL men’s team (despite supporting the West Coast Eagles) and Netball SA.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys getting on the netball court (Go Pints!), making the most of the dry season with camping and fishing, and starting the day with a good coffee.

Ben has a particular focus on knee injuries and lower back sporting injuries such as Pars defects.
Ben has been running our Young Guns (kids) strength and Conditioning classes in our new gym, and has been doing coverage for the Salties Wheelchair Basketball Team.
